Annual Raffle - August 2017

The Fly Dressers' Guild annual raffle has been launched and tickets are available for purchase. We have a great selection of prizes, as shown below.  The raffle will be drawn at Sportfish Reading on 24th August 2017.

As you will know, 2017 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the Fly Dressers' Guild and we have some cracking prizes to be won, as befits the occasion.

With tickets once again priced at only £1 each, the cost to you is less than half a pint of beer, but if all members bought just two tickets each, the raffle would continue to represent a key source of income for the Guild. So please do buy a ticket or two if you can.
Members of the Guild will have received a book of tickets with the Spring issue of Flydresser.  You can buy them all for yourself, as a present to others (just what they wanted!) or sell to friends with an interest in fly tying.*

If you are running a stand at a local show and think you could sell tickets at the event,* or are not a member of the Guild and would like to buy tickets, please get in touch with Richard Ellis via

If you purchase tickets or sell any tickets, please complete the ticket stubs with the relevant name and address and send them in the envelope provided, together with a cheque payable to ‘The Fly Dressers Guild’ to arrive by 21st August 2017.  Please don't forget to put a stamp on the envelope!

*ImportantTickets are not for sale to or by persons under sixteen years of age.
